79 W. Monroe St., the former Bell Federal Savings & Loan headquarters, is a 15-story neoclassical building designed by Jarvis Hunt and completed in 1903. The building’s most distinctive feature is the iconic Weather Bell sign, installed in the early 1960’s, which changes color as it predicts changes in temperature.
The Work
Over 70% vacant at the time of purchase, Farbman Group retained Accurate Space, Inc. to create complete set of as-built drawings and perform a thorough BOMA analysis of the property.
