1000 Wilshire, now known as the Wedbush Center, was designed by the New York architecture firm of Kohn Pedersen Fox in association with the Los Angeles firm of Langdon, Wilson and Mumper. Completed in 1987, 1000 Wilshire was the first Post-Modern building in Los Angeles, with a flattened oval-shape and a classic marble-glass exterior.
The Work
Initially retained by Broadway Partners to create a full set of core, shell and demising drawings plus a detail BOMA 1996 area analysis. Lincoln Property Company, upon acquiring the building, approached Accurate Space, Inc. to perform a detailed BOMA 2010 area analysis.
