Located in the heart of Denver’s Central Business District, 621 17th Street was completed in 1957 and 633 17th Street was completed in 1974, both buildings stood as the tallest buildings in Denver at the time of completion. Formerly known as the First of Denver Plaza, the two buildings are interconnected at the basement level and through a six-story “Link” building. A seven level parking garage sits adjacent to both the 621 17th Street building and the “Link” building. The 621 17th Street building was featured in the opening credits of the television show Dynasty.
The Work
EQ Office retained Accurate Space, Inc. to perform a detailed BOMA 2010 area analysis. A full set of core, shell and demising wall drawings where created, accompanied by an extensive field survey of the buildings. The final results were astonishing!
